Comfort Mussa is a Cameroonian journalist, strategist, and advocate who believes storytelling is the heartbeat of social change. With a distinguished career at the intersection of media, advocacy, and development, she is widely recognized for her work advancing gender equality and disability inclusion across Cameroon and beyond. From global newsrooms to community frontlines, her work has consistently amplified voices too often unheard particularly women, persons with disabilities, and marginalized communities. Her contributions have earned international recognition, including the Commonwealth Point of Light Award from Queen Elizabeth II, for advancing disability inclusion in
Cameroon. Beyond reporting, Comfort designs systems for ethical and inclusive storytelling, trains journalists, and supports organizations in strengthening their strategic communication. As Cameroon’s pioneer Dear You Ambassador, she leads initiatives that empower women to reclaim their health, truth, and agency. She also serves on the Advisory Council of Leads Mission International, Cameroon chapter.
